Delightful Reading by Simply Charlotte Mason (SCM) teaches children how to read the Charlotte Mason way.  Charlotte taught children to read with a mix of everything: phonics, sight words, selections from beautiful books, hands-on activities, and fun. Children in beginning grades, Charlotte believed,  needed to have both natural and hands-on approach to reading. This is why Simply Charlotte Mason has created Delightful Reading. 

These lessons are short, gentle lessons to cultivate the habit of attention in your child. The letter and word tiles work perfectly to give the children the hands-on needed to help them grasp the lesson easier. If the letter and word tiles weren't enough fun for your child Simply Charlotte Mason has also included a My Word Book. This book allows the child to write the new words they have learned in their own book. I know my child is very proud when she gets to write her new words in her very own book.

This study has more than 100 most commonly used words for your child to learn. The readings are selected from beautiful writers like Robert Louis Stevenson and Aesop. A CD is provided for you in case you need to reprint some letter/word tiles that, as we all know, can magically disappear without anyone ever seeing where they've gone. :)
