Speaking Spanish with Miss Mason and François Volume 1

by Cherrydale Press

Categories: Foreign Language

Suggested Grades: 1-12, Family

Product Description:

This foreign language study of Spanish by Cherry Dale Press takes the methods that Charlotte Mason used, the Gouin series, to teach us. Cherry Dale Press has of course updated this study from the time Charlotte used it to includes words of today, but the same methods are there. This study is to be studied over the course of 2-3 years. If the student has had some Spanish already, they might consider skipping to the middle or Volume 2, but all students will benefit from starting at the beginning.

Not sure what ages to start with? Cherrydale Press has answered these questions and many others on their Questions page.

    1. Katie,

I'm pleased to let you know. That Cherrydale Press does offer a preview. However, the way their website is set up you will have to contact them at admin (at)cherrydalepress (dot) com.

Sorry about the long wait on a reply. I ask though if you do get a preview of it please come back and write a comment on the preview. I'd love to hear it!

      Thanks!

  3. Katie,

As far as I know there is not a preview to the book. However, I can tell you that I myself have purchased the ebook (then printed) and the audio. It takes awhile to get use to the idea of learning language this way. In the book on the left side is an English phrase, on the right page is that English phrase in French. I bought the audio too because I know I would terribly hurt the language trying to teach it to my kids. :)

If you'll look at cherrydalepress.com on the footer of their page is their email address. They, unlike me (sorry), are usually pretty prompt to reply. I hope this helps and that you give it a try. It's an awesome resource.

    Thanks for commenting! :)
